Gardiners Park

These pictures are taken from a park which the School Mike coaches at (St John the Baptist) use for running in. its not overally large, but for somewhere else to go and get of the roads its not a bad little spot. Mike was coaching and then running while I went and took pics.
The park has a walk way down to the water and trails and a pond.
While there today I had this lovely guest.

This Bridge is the Robert Moses Causeway. It takes you to the beach and the Barrier land south of where we live.

They have added new signage around the trails.

Football

Last Friday Night one of Mikes Cousins was playing football just down the road from us so we went and checked it out. These little 5 and 6 year olds running around with huge as helmets, making them look like bobble heads. Very entertaining. And they won. Here are some pics from the night. He is #44 (Dwyer)

Action shoot

On the way back from the walk Mike and I came across a deer, so we tested out the skills of the camera. Mike walked down one path while I stayed on the other and this is what we got

And then we came across this fellow

Labor Day Weekend

Mike and I were able to get some chill out time with Monday off, so we headed out to Wildwood State Park, out East on Long Island. His parents were out camping there with their new luxury camper, thats right 3 flat screen tvs, a fire place and you can choose to have heat or not from it. Real campers! Oh yea and AC. But its all good, a nice getaway. We traveled out after work on Sunday and had BBQ dinner with them. We walked to the beach and took some pics with a little bit of a sunset

Down on the beach

Think I need a tripod for these, came out a little blurred

The next day, Mike and I went for a run cheeking out some trails that he had found. After all these years they had been at this campsite he finally found a nice little loop of them. Then back to the camper for a cook up of pancakes. After this we headed of to the trails again and along the bluff to take some pics.
Cooking brekkie the next morning after our run thru the trails. Thats right this little set up is on the outside of the camper, with a fridge, the 3rd tv and the grill.

After brekkie, we walked back up the trials we found

All the trees in this section where engraved with everyones loved ones
