Photography

I finally got through the instructions on how to use my camera! now it is time to put it into action. Here are some pics that I have done. I had a patience seagull while I took pics.

This one has been edited a little on the computer.

Pic A) A-E, 1/400, 8, Daylight.

Pic B) Manual 1/125 25, Daylight
Pic C) Creative auto, 1/200, 20, with flash
Pic D) Taken under Manual setting, 1/800, 5.6, white balance is in auto

Lessons from today is that to get the real true color you need to have the right  light setting, this had to to moved to daylight to get the brighter more vibrant color. Pic B has to be my favorite for the day.

Reviving my Blog

Ok so Its been way too long and way too much as happened to get it up to date. I am going to give a brief recap of what has happened and I am going to start this again!

So the last time I blogged was World XC 2011, since then I have continued the running with bits of success here and there, enough to keep me in the game, however I am trying a new coach and working with husband, Mike for a little while and I am going to aim for the Marathon so will hopefully have one in the books come 2014. But I have to take steps like more 10ks and a half marathon first.

Mike and I are still living in Bayport, NY working at Sayville Running Co and Mike coaching with St Johns the Baptist. I still have the lovely sponsorship of Saucony which I am so grateful for.

I got to have Nathaniel come visit for xmas, 2011, which was just great, so good to have family around.

I have in the time also just turned 30 and got the best gift from my husband. A camera. This is what my blog is going to start to contain, my slow progress on getting some photography skills together.

Right lets see if I cam keep this going!
